The traveling musical caravan is headlined and curated by Gregg Allman, who will be performing an acoustic set at Red Rocks. The Red Rocks lineup also features ZZ Top and will include Richie Furay Band, Jaimoe’s Jasssz Band and more. This is a day of great music and food you can’t afford to miss!

Dance Party Time Machine – December 11th – Cervantes’ Ballroom

This past Friday night brought Denver unusually warm weather and a variety of choices for the Denver live music faithful to get down. Down at Cervantes’, J2G Live was ready to deliver their third installment of the Dance Party Time Machine, a collaborative effort of Denver’s finest musicians who come together to throwdown a mixtape of hits from throughout the decades of dance music. After trips through the 60’s, 70’s, 80’s and more, the time machine landed safely in 2015 to end the evening.

Telluride Blues & Brews – September 18th-20th – Telluride Town Park

The Listen Up Denver! crew rolled into Telluride with one simple intention: Do not take this for granted. We were in Telluride! Man, it was amazing! The weather was epic, the beer flowed freely and the music, oh the music. The footprints of musicians including Rich Robinson, Sharon Jones, and Otis Taylor dotted the stage throughout the weekend, and while the sun warmed the day, clear and starry skies cooled off the evenings and the dancing lasted till the wee hours of the morning.

ZZ Top – March 8th – Paramount Theatre

One of the world’s most recognizable bands, ZZ Top, brought their long red beards and some Texas flavored, Blues infused Rock to Denver’s Paramount Theatre on Saturday night. There wasn’t an empty seat in the house as people came from far and near to hear classic ZZ Top songs like “Jesus just left Chicago,” “Cheap Sunglasses” & “Legs.” Guitarist Billy Gibbons, Bass player Dusty Hill, and Drummer Frank Beard all sounded tight and had the crowd singing and dancing the entire set.

Greensky Bluegrass “Totally Bitchin’ 80’s” – October 31st – The Fox Theatre

The Greensky Bluegrass 80’s themed Halloween party rocked the Fox on Monday as they turned the music from what is arguably one of the coolest decades into a good ole fashioned barn burnin’ hoedown. It was one of the most unique takes on a Halloween costume we have ever witnessed and it most certainly made for a “Totally Bitchin’ 80s Dance Party” that most will not be forgetting anytime soon.
