Stephen Kellogg & The Sixers – December 2nd – The Bluebird Theatre

Stephen Kellogg and The Sixers wowed a crowd of clean cut young professionals last Friday at The Bluebird. Their brand of pop-rock may not be overly complex but combined with a truly deep and unique connection to their fans, it made for amazingly entertaining performance. Kellogg interacted with the audience all night, telling stories and sharing himself through his songs and banter.

Foo Fighters – October 9th – Pepsi Center

Dave Grohl and his band mates exploded onto the Pepsi Center stage to a deafening roar just a few minutes past nine and launched right into “Bridge Burning,” the opening track of their most recent album, Wasting Light and they didn’t slow down for more than 2 and half hours. Was it the best show ever, no, clearly not, but it was entertaining. It was a true arena rock show that took advantage of the space and the considerable resources that were available.

U2 – May 21st – Invesco Field

On Saturday Night U2 brought their massive 360 Tour to Invesco Field at Mile High and Listen Up Denver! was there with more than 80,000 other people for the historic show as U2 proved why they are the biggest rock band on the planet. Most fans that had packed the massive stadium found exactly what they were looking for and U2 proved that all that the hype that has surrounded this tour for two years is more than justified.
