Grab your wineglass and your picnic basket – the Summer Concert Series is back at Denver Botanic Gardens. Along with the producing partner, Swallow Hill Music, Denver Botanic Gardens is excited to announce this summer’s full line-up of fantastic artists. While it includes many of the old favorites like Bruce Hornsby, The Indigo Girls, and Emmylou Harris, names like David Byrne, St Vincent, Josh Ritter, Elephant Revival and Carolina Chocolate Drops are sure to excite newcomers to this great summer concert series.
The 2013 Denver Botanic Gardens Summer Concert Series, presented by UMB Bank, is situated inside the gates of one of the nation’s top botanic gardens. Named one of the “5 Best Outdoor Venues in Colorado” in 2012 by Westword, the UMB Bank Amphitheater and Denver Botanic Gardens at Chatfield offer an unrivaled ambiance of beautiful scenery and the crystal clear music of some of the world’s most sought-after artists. When asked to name spectacular venues in Colorado, Steve Knopper, contributing editor of Rolling Stone, immediately replies, “Denver Botanic Gardens…a great little venue, a hidden secret…”
