Red Rocks has always been a benchmark of success to any band lucky enough to play it, and Trampled By Turtles proved their place among those greats by selling out their performance last Thursday. They were supported by Lord Huron, who were playing the legendary stage for the first time, and who were well received by the crowd dominated by 20 somethings. Despite rain right at the start of the Turtles’ set, the band did not disappoint the enthusiastic audience, and by all accounts played a great set that had a nice mix of covers and originals. This string band has built momentum and a passionate following, nothing can limit the blast radius of this band blowing up. If you were there you already know, but if not, check out the photos from the show below and see what you missed!
