Phil Lesh will be reviving his dormant Phil & Friends project for at least a few shows this winter.  Lesh posted the news to his site over the weekend and we are awaiting the venue to post it as we speak.  Joining fill as his “Friends” are guitarists Warren Haynes and John Scofield, drummer Joe Russo, and multi-instrumentalist Jackie Greene.  While all of these musicians have worked with Phil in versions of Phil and Friends or Furthur, this will be the first time they will be playing together as a band.  It’s sure to be an amazing run of shows so don’t miss out!  Tickets go on-sale to the general public on Friday December, 2nd.
