Mike Pinto Band – September 15th – The Bluebird Theatre

An intimate crowd of long time fans gathered at The Bluebird last week to catch The Mike Pinto Band throw a reggae tinged party. Ranging from full band, horn driven numbers, to touching solo acoustic ballads, Pinto reminded us all how music binds humanity. While they featured most of their new EP “The West Is Still Wild,” there were still plenty of songs from the early days to round out the set.

This year a diverse line up of 14 bands took to the stage situated next to the Arkansas River and in the shadow of the Collegiate Peaks from July 28th – July 30th. Staying with tradition, CPMF remains a celebration of Colorado by featuring some of the best bands from around the state. Additionally, the festival recruits an eclectic selection of touring bands from all over the US.
