Estimated read time 11 min read

Little Feat is a band that has been in the trenches of Rock and Roll since the revolution began. Levon Helm Tribute – June 2nd – The Mountain Jam Festival

Estimated read time 8 min read

“As I looked at all of the members of The Levon Helm Band when they lined up at the end of the night, I saw a band in transition and a family in mourning. I saw a group of extremely talented musicians who are willing to do whatever it takes to get through this, and to keep Levon’s legacy going strong. The pain of Levon’s death is still etched deeply in the hearts of many, and will continue to be for a long time, but the joy his music creates is just as powerful.”

Cars were lined up on Plochman Lane hours before fans were let on to the property, and there was a feeling of joy and loss that combined into an emotional force that hung in the air the entire night. It felt like celebrating Thanksgiving shortly after the passing of the man who sat at the head of the table.

Carolyn Wonderland – August 24th – Cervantes’ Other Side

Estimated read time 6 min read

Carolyn Wonderland is a force to be reckoned with, plain and simple, and she turned Cervantes Other Side turned into a raucous Texas roadhouse on Wednesday night. There was no chicken wire screen or bottles being flung, but there was a firey red head on stage, throwing back shots and making her guitar scream!
