Trey Anastasio Band – May 31st – Red Rocks

Estimated read time 2 min read

Trey Anastasio, legendary guitarist for Phish, stopped into Red Rocks for the first time since 2009 (and first time with TAB since 2005) and there’s no doubt he was happy to be back. Anastasio’s grin was a near permanent fixture from the first time he appeared on stage to sit in with Vulfpeck for a take on “Rango” early in the night, till the final notes of “Dazed and Confused” reverberated off the rocks and disappeared into the night air.

Estimated read time 1 min read

Red Rocks is the pinnacle of live music for both musician and fan, and the effects it has on the concert experience are undeniable. Estimated read time 13 min read

Driving into Winter Park on Friday afternoon was a 3mph parade of late teens and twenty-somethings already in neon accessories and ski gear, piled six deep in SUV’s on the way to one of the more unique electronic music events in the country, Snowball Music Festival. The police, who vowed to be less aggressive than last year, pulled over cars left and right as we made our way through downtown Winter Park to the condo. It was 4pm and the anticipation had everybody in full party mode before sunset.
