Boulder Based Z2 Entertainment Takes The Reins On Booking at Mishawaka

Our friends over at the Westword posted this interesting bit of news about one of Colorado’s oldest and most beloved music venues.  Z2 Entertainment, the entity that operates Boulder’s Fox Theater and Boulder Theater, will be handling the booking for Mishawaka starting this year.  According to Mishawaka assistant general manager Alana Rolfe, the Mish is looking to diversify their show calendar.  “We’re really excited, because Z2 can bring the shows the Mish is used to, like the jam bands and Americana, but they can also bring different genres, like country and indie, which we are trying to get more of this summer.”  Experienced talent buyers Chris Peck and David Weingarden of Z2 will be taking over booking duties for the Mish. Weingarden has booked for Swallow Hill and helped put together the great Denver Botanic Gardens concert series.  Peck is from Tennessee and has booked for events as large as Bonnaroo.  Weingarden and Peck have already begun on the 2015 calendar and a full schedule for the 2015 summer season will be released in April.
