Swallow Hill & Arvada Center Unveil Summer Stage Concert Series

SUMMER STAGE CONCERT SERIES

The warm weather is almost here! This summer, pack a picnic and enjoy concerts under the stars at the Arvada Center’s outdoor amphitheater. The Summer Stage Concert Series at the Arvada Center features a wide array of concerts including The Waterboys, Steep Canyon Rangers, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, Toad The Wet Sprocket, Smash Mouth and Tonic, Jonny Lang, Laurie Berkner, Sweet Harmony Soul featuring Mavis Staples, Patty Griffin and Amy Helm, Los Lobos, and David Grisman Bluegrass Experience and the Jeff Austin Band. Tickets for these concerts go on sale on Friday, March 27, at 10 a.m.

Produced in partnership with Swallow Hill Music, the 2015 Summer Stage Concert Series will also feature Wonderbound, Colorado Symphony, Colorado Ballet and the Denver Brass. Go to www.summeratthecenter.com for dates and pricing.The amphitheater has been home to live music for more than 20 years, offering wonderful acoustics, intimate covered seating (the last row is only 30 feet from the stage), and expansive lawn seating perfect for an evening of music under the stars.

Nate Todd was born on the central plains of Nebraska, but grew up on the high plains of the Texas panhandle. With not much to do in either place, music was his constant companion. His parents dubbed the first two albums he ever owned onto a tape for him. Side A was Bert and Ernie’s Sing Along. Side B was Sgt. Peppers. His lifelong love affair with music started early as he practically grew up in a Rock & Roll band, with his father and uncle often taking him out on the road or into the studio with them. Nate began performing live at sixteen and hasn’t looked back, having played in numerous bands from L.A. to Austin. At the age of twenty he was bitten by the writing bug, and upon moving to Denver decided to pursue a degree from Metropolitan State University where he recently graduated with a B.A. in English and a minor in Cinema Studies.
