Why You Should Go: Former Stooge, and owner of rock’s finest wiry torso, Iggy Pop returned to the musical fray this year with new album Post Pop Depression, a collaboration with laconic Queens of the Stone Age frontman Josh Homme. On the tracklist are the singles ‘Garnedia’ and the bluesy, hypnotic “Break Into Your Heart.” Alongside material from the new record, this once-in-a-lifetime tour will also see Iggy revisiting tracks from his 1977 debut Lust For Life, to which Post Pop Depression acts as a spiritual successor. As with the record, they’ll be backed on these live dates by Queens of the Stone guitarist Dean Fertita and Arctic Monkeys drummer Matt Helders. Catch this bubbling cauldron of rock goodness when the Post Pop Depression tour hits Denver this Saturday!
