Guttermouth – October 5th – The Marquis Theater

There’s nothing like a good ol’ fashioned punk show. For those of us who grew up listening to punk, every Guttermouth show is a trip down memory lane–and Saturday’s performance at The Marquis Theater with Agent Orange, Piñata Protest and The Trade-Ins was no exception. Guttermouth is awesome. They ARE Punk. They are expressive and angry yet comical; they do crazy shit sans concern for what others think of them–and people eat that shit up.

Foxy Shazam – October 7th – The Marquis Theater

When Foxy Shazam took the stage at The Marquis Theater on Sunday night all hell broke loose . . . and no, not in a good way. As the music roared in the background and the band members flailed around the stage, the crowd morphed, tightened, and the crush became too much to handle. The excitement of a high-energy Rock show turned to terror for everyone in the front row. It wasn’t long before a longtime concert photographer was covered in blood and had to be helped on stage to escape the mayhem. It was a true nightmare for some.
