Why You Should Go: On Friday night, Colorado’s best musicians will take you on an unforgettable journey through decades of your favorite dance party music aboard the already legendary “Dance Party Time Machine.” From the 50’s to Today, the Dance Party Time Machine will jump from era to era, placing your dancing feet in various time periods, while you stay right here in Denver. J2G Live is known for extravaganza’s like The Love Shack and Revenge of the 90’s, and now they are bringing back the Dance Party Time Machine; a dance party that knows no limits. Last September, a group of over 40 of Denver’s best musicians shared the stage performing popular dance tunes from various decades. Starting back in the 50’s, this one of a kind Time Machine careened through time as the night moved on and covered many of your favorite party anthems.  This Friday, the time machine will land at The Ogden Theatre with a whole new set list and some monster musicians on board.

Denver is known to have one of the hottest music scenes in the country and the best of the best have been recruited for this monumental event. The 2014 edition of Dance Party Time Machine will feature Marc Brownstein, Aron Magner and Allen Aucoin of The Disco Biscuits, David Murphy of Seven Arrows and other special guests TBA, alongside members of: The Motet, Euforquestra, YAMN, Ryan Bingham Band, Rose Hill Drive, Fox Street, Kinetix, Tiger Party, Mountain Standard Time, Analog Son, Filthy Children, DYNOHUNTER, Ableminds, Rally Round The Family w/ performances by SUCH, Jonah Wisneski, Eric Blumenfeld and Aubrie Hamrick. Dancing has evolved over the decades, and so has the popular sound. Not only is this a party, but a journey through the songs that made generations before us shake their tail feathers.
