Why You Should Go: LOHI Music Festival returns to The Highlands this summer with one of the best lineups yet featuring performances by Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe, Kyle Hollingsworth, Jen Hartswick and Natalie Cressman of Trey Anastasio Band, Poor Man’s Whiskey, Analog Son, Jason Hahn, Rastasaurus, Greener Grounds and more! Cervantes’ will also be hosting late night performances by Everyone Orchestra Incidental Animals with members of The String Cheese Incident, ALO, and Trey Anastasio Band as well as Poor Man’s Whiskey. The theme this year is “Space Odyssey” so dress as your favorite astronaut, alien, or robot! The festival gets underway at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.

LOHI Music Festival will promote a music-centric event in beautiful Lower Highland, Denver (In front of Highland Tap & Burger/Bar Dough).  The festival will feature an array of internationally known bands for music enthusiasts and families alike. Festival organizers have set the stage for their 6th annual event(s) that will bring people from all over the country and benefit the economy of Denver and its surrounding communities.  A significant portion of the proceeds will go to a local non-profit.

Nate Todd

Nate Todd was born on the central plains of Nebraska, but grew up on the high plains of the Texas panhandle. With not much to do in either place, music was his constant companion. His parents dubbed the first two albums he ever owned onto a tape for him. Side A was Bert and Ernie’s Sing Along. Side B was Sgt. Peppers. His lifelong love affair with music started early as he practically grew up in a Rock & Roll band, with his father and uncle often taking him out on the road or into the studio with them. Nate began performing live at sixteen and hasn’t looked back, having played in numerous bands from L.A. to Austin. At the age of twenty he was bitten by the writing bug, and upon moving to Denver decided to pursue a degree from Metropolitan State University where he recently graduated with a B.A. in English and a minor in Cinema Studies.
