Last Saturday night, the Fillmore Auditorium was as full as I’d seen it in years as droves of tireless revelers showed up to support two bands who have both previously played sold-out headlining shows in Denver. It was St. Patrick’s Day, and although most of this crowd had been drinking all day under the bright Colorado sky, they definitely weren’t slowing down.

Lotus and Late Night Radio brought a fiercely funky mood to the Fillmore Auditorium for the sold-out “Dead Man’s Party” on Halloween. The line to enter the venue meandered around the block and it took more than a few anxious minutes for the masses get inside. The desperation was highly evident as hoards of zombies showed up seeking entrance to the labyrinth without tickets. Once inside the packed barn the atmosphere was vibrant. Donning an animal mask and dancing in neon lights can only be this special on Halloween night.
