  • Cervantes' was packed with a healthy mix of hardcore Pink Floyd fans looking to get a little weird and the usual Denver suspects as former STS9 bass player David Murphy brought his Pigs On The Wing project back to Denver.   With local favorites Tiger Party on board to kick things off, the near sold-out crowd was treated to a night of infectious dance grooves and psychedelic classics that did not disappoint.

  • All the usual suspects came out early and stayed late for the dual-sided Mystic Mayhem Masquerade Ball at Cervantes' last Saturday. The venue was comfortably full at an early hour, undoubtedly due to fervor for Denver-based live EDM band Octopus Nebula, who paved the way for the highly anticipated Ott & The All Seeing I. On The Other Side were Project Aspect and Future Simple Project. Both sides had a lot of good energy circulating around, along with plenty glow sticks, hula hoops and other various light-up toys. It was indeed a veritable circus.

  • The Ogden Theatre was sold-out for the 9th annual The Last Waltz Revisited concert last Wednesday. The Thanksgiving eve tradition is highly anticipated each year, and 2013 was no exception. Smiles abounded with warm hugs being exchanged and old friends reuniting as the venue filled up before the show. Hosted each year by Polytoxic members CR Gruver and Tori Pater, all in all more than 40 musicians graced the stage as they took part in the reenactment of one of the most famous concerts in Rock and Roll history.

With jams from the 1960s all the way up to this summer, Colorado musicians from a variety of different bands led the crowd into a groovetastic time warp of wondrous proportions. The lineup included David Murphy of STS9 & Members of The Motet, Euforquestra, Rose Hill Drive, YAMN, Fox Street Allstars, The Congress, DubSkin, Kinetix, Octopus Nebula, The Whales, and many more.
