There are really only two words to describe these two legends: guitar gods. Beck of course got his start as part of the holy triumvirate of guitar players in the 60s blues based group The Yardbirds and Buddy Guy transcends the word legend and was a heavy influence on Beck and many other great guitar players. Coming out of the Chicago blues scene, Buddy played with Muddy Waters as a house musician for Chess Records.

Santana’s hour of killer, legendary guitar-ripping took fans on a stroll down memory lane while Rod Stewart’s headlining performance was chalked full of hits, new and old, and all incredibly enjoyable with fantastic onstage spectacles, demonstrating the full range of the Pop star’s talents.

Rockstar Uproar Festival – September 1st – Fiddler’s Green

With 3 stages, 11 bands, and 79 degree high temps, progressive rockers of all ages came out to Englewood’s Fiddler’s Green Amphitheatre on Sunday for a comfortable night of non-stop live music at the annual Rockstar Energy Drink Uproar Festival. Co-headliner Jane’s Addiction played a beautiful hour long set that featured many of their older songs and really had the crowd mesmerized. Keep your eyes and ears open so you don’t miss next years 5th installment of the Uproar Festival, it’s a real blast!
