PICK OF THE WEEK: Yonder Mountain String Band – Red Rocks – Friday, August 22nd

Estimated read time 2 min read

With the release of their new album ‘Black Sheep,’ Yonder Mountain begins a new era. While it’s certainly recognizable as YMSB music, there’s a raw aesthetic to the studio tracks – a sense of daring is embedded in both the instrumental interaction between the five singular players and in the lyrical content of each song. YMSB will be supported by Greensky Bluegrass and Fruition making this a night of must see music!

Estimated read time 14 min read

Located four miles from State Bridge in Bond Co and Highway 131, the use of the word “town” for Rancho Del Rio is extravagant. Simply “Rancho,” as the locals call it, is no more than a smattering of small cabins and a local BBQ stand.
