Everyone Orchestra – January 17th – Cervantes’ Ballroom

Cervantes’ threw their 12 year anniversary celebration this past weekend and it was Everyone Orchestra kicking off another year of musical delightment at everyone’s favorite Welton St ballroom. Everyone Orchestra was the band for both Friday and Saturday night, with local bands The Congress opening Friday and Deadphish Orchestra Saturday. On Saturday the scene was filled with excitement, patrons ready to celebrate. The line to get in was long and tight, regulars and newcomers waiting to push through to the party.

LOHI Music Festival Late Night – June 14th – Cervantes’ Masterpiece

Cervantes Masterpiece Ballroom got busy early Saturday night, as attendees of the LOHI Music Festival made their way from the event grounds to Five Points for part two. The last set of moe. ended at 10pm, getting fans all hot and bothered and leaving them begging for more. With a new moon on the rise, when the festival ended, it was apparent that Denver was not ready for bed yet. The second half of the festivities included performances from The Pimps of Joytime, Everyone Orchestra featuring members of moe. and the Motet, and The Heavy Pets.

Kyle’s Brew Fest – July 23rd – Boulder Beer Company

The parking lot outside of the Boulder Beer Company was taken over this past weekend by over 30 different breweries and one funky band headed by Kyle Hollingsworth of the String Cheese Incident. This was the second year Kyle has hosted this amazing event in order to raise funds for the Conscious Alliance. Not only was Kyle in charge of rocking the house, he was also showcasing his brand new brew from the Boulder Beer company; the Hoopla Pale Ale.
