The Lumineers Talk Their New Record & Their Contagious Live Show

When they headed West and teamed up with Neyla Pekarek, a classically trained Denver native, they struck proverbial gold with The Lumineers. This up and coming trio is currently on a self booked tour, and their self titled album dropped today. Archnemisis & Up Until Now – March 9th – Cervantes’ Ballroom

Instead of a crowd made up of white furry yeti boots, spirit hoods, and a whole bunch of oblivious candy kids, there was a great mix of people giving off a staggeringly positive and uplifting vibe at Cervantes’ on Friday night. Archnemisis, Up Until Now, Fisk, and Ableminds put on a wildly diverse show that blended Jazz, Hip-Hop, and Electronica that culminated in a monumental surge of energy that simply can’t be described.

G. Love Talks The Avett Brothers & Colorful Colorado

Fifteen albums and almost twenty years have passed since G. Love & Special Sauce was the house band at The Plough and Stars in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Garrett Dutton (aka G. Love) and his band’s enthusiasm for playing music and constant touring have steadily built a large and well deserved fan base across the country. The Waka Winter Classic Comes To Colorado This Week

The anticipation for the summer festival season couldn’t be any higher than during these long winter months. Big Gigantic – January 21st – The Ogden Theatre

For the past few weeks a huge buzz was building steadily, on the internet and the street, for Big Gigantic’s run of Colorado shows that culminated with a massive throwdown at The Ogden on Saturday night. Being that both Dominic Lalli and Jeremy Salken have been well known in the CO music scene for a while now, and with the recent release of “Nocturnal,” it was no wonder everyone was so damn excited.
