After a lack luster opening set from Fly Golden Eagle, the highly animated Brittany Howard of Alabama Shakes’ ignited the audience with the jet engine roar of her voice bouncing off the still sunlit rocks.

Wakarusa – Mulberry Mountain, AR – Part 1

Two weekends ago, Wakarusa, and it’s army of party people and music lovers, lit up Mulberry Mountain in Arkansas. With acts ranging from The Weir, Robinson, Greene Acoustic Trio, to the electro madness of Pretty Lights, the festival offered something for everyone. The Ogden was packed last Wednesday night. From Hipsters, to Hippies, the room was a melting pot of Denver demographics, but everyone had turned out for the same reason, to see Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros. They group hasn’t released any new material recently, but they have steadily become more and more popular and the excitement in the room was at a fever pitch by the time Alex Ebert, Jade Castrinos, and the rest of the Magnetic Zeros took the stage.

The Band Of Heathens Talk Doubling Down In Denver
