Bruce Hornsby – August 30th – Denver Botanic Gardens

Estimated read time 4 min read

A crowd peppered mainly with 30 something couples and high-spirited baby boomers settled in on the lawn of the Denver Botanic Gardens Thursday night by draping blankets and uncorking bottles of wine. The well-dressed group seemed eager to enjoy the smooth sounds of Nicki Bluhm and the freewheeling Bruce Hornsby. Huey Lewis & The News – August 12th – Comfort Dental

Estimated read time 5 min read

When Huey Lewis took the stage with only a harmonica in hand, he introduced himself by saying “I’m Huey Lewis and this . . . is The News,” and quickly proved that “The Heart of Rock and Roll” is indeed still beating as they tore into the band’s 1984 hit. With Lewis fronting a ten piece band they delivered a solid show that featured many of the hits that his fans know and love. Was it one of the all time great shows? Bruce Hornsby – June 21st – The Boulder Theater

Estimated read time 4 min read

All throughout the night, the energy swelled as Bruce Hornsby and The Noisemakers filled the air with lively and passionate music. Each member of the six-piece ensemble was given ample time to display their talents despite sharing the stage with such a gifted and accomplished artist. Even though each individual solo was well played and well received, nothing was more impressive than the sum total of all the parts on stage. The generosity and humility displayed by Bruce is part of what makes him so much fun to see.
