The Mission Ballroom was the place to be last Friday night if you were looking for your fix of Bluegrass. With a fantastic line-up of local heroes featuring The Sweet Lillies opening up for The Infamous Stringdusters the stage was set for a great night.
From the mountains to the plains, Railroad Earth shows have become a Colorado ritual. Railroad returned to the Fillmore Auditorium in Denver for two unique shows this past Friday and Saturday evenings. With Saturday’s performance, the band brought the flames with one of their liveliest and most dynamic shows to date. The crowd was colorful and happy as usual. Young and old, fathers and sons, best friends and diehards filtered into an unusually quiet and roomy Fillmore space.
With the LOHI Music Fest right around the corner Listen Up Denver! had the privilege of talking with Chris Pandolfi, banjo player from The Infamous Stringdusters. The Stringdusters will be headlining this year’s festival and Chris spoke to us about life on the road, his wide range of influences, and the animalistic nature of him and his bandmates.
