LoHi Music Festival – August 4th – LoHi Neighborhood, Denver
Posted on August 14, 2012 | 1 CommentLast Saturday, the LoHi Music Festival was held on 32nd Avenue in the heart of the LoHi neighborhood in Denver. The event was a smashing success by all measures, and judging by the smiles on the faces of music lovers everywhere I looked, it was well received by all who attended. This was the second year for the event and, wow did it grow fast! There were people as far as the eye could see from the main stage looking west on 32nd Avenue by the time Particle hit the stage with Michael Kang of The String Cheese Incident around six thirty. -

While the crowd was fairly sparse early in the evening, as the sun started to set, people rolled in from all directions to enjoy the funky sounds that were emanating from the typically vacant lot. This was a great little festival that will hopefully return for an encore later this summer or next year to get some of the kinks ironed out. -
